All refrigeration equipments are made of four key components; the evaporator, the condenser, the compressor and the throttle valve. Ice machines all work the same way. The function of compressor is to compress low-pressure refrigerant vapor to high-pressure vapor, and deliver it to the condenser. Here, the high-pressure vapor is condensed into high-pressure liquid, and drained out through the throttle valve to become low-pressure liquid. At this point, the liquid is conducted to the evaporator, where heat exchanging occurs, and ice is created.
Weiber Tube Ice Machines are double walled cooled units. Outer body are constructed out of thick PCRC, pre coated corrosion resistant GI sheet duly pre-treated with primers and rust proofing and painted with long lasting stove enamel or elegantly powder coated. The inner construction is made of stainless steel sheet-304.
Insulation is non-CFC polyurethane foam, bonded to shell and liner for added strength.
Cooling:
An energy efficient cooling unit is installed in our machines. We use high end CFC free compressors of Kirloskar/Tecumseh / Bitzer/ Danfoss make, conforming to latest international standards and guidelines.
The refrigerants used are R404A, R134A, R502, R-407 A/C/F R-22, R-717, R-134a and other HFC’s.
Temperature from 5 to -20°C can be achieved by using R-134A.
The refrigerants are environmental friendly, CFC free and easily available worldwide.
